Rose Marcario

She/Her

Rose is a seasoned, mission-driven leader. A partner at ReGen Ventures, an early-stage venture fund focused on restoring climate, planetary and human health, Rose is also the former CEO at outdoor apparel company Patagonia and current chair of the board of trustees overseeing the Rivian Foundation. She is also a founding member of the Regenerative Organic Alliance, a label that ensures soil health, animal welfare, and worker fairness, underscoring her deep commitment to climate solutions.

Chuck Sams

He/him/his

As the 19th director of the National Park Service and the first Native American to hold that position, Chuck oversaw 433 National Park units with over 20,000 staff and an annual operating budget of $3.5 billion. He is a proven leader who has dedicated his career to restoring ecosystems, strengthening Tribal and public lands partnerships, and mentoring the next generation of environmental stewards while also leading complex organizations with much success. His values-led expertise aligns with the co-op’s mission to protect the outdoors and ensure everyone feels welcome.

Ted Philip

He/him/his

Fueled by a lifelong love of the outdoors rooted in trail runs, mountain biking, and watersports, Ted has three decades of mission-driven leadership across the retail, consumer product, tech, healthcare and entertainment industries. Ted served as chief operating officer of Partners in Health, a global non-profit healthcare organization with a mission to strengthen health care systems in marginalized communities around the world. Ted has served on the REI board since 2018.
